Liverpool Docks: Explained for kids

Some of the concept art done for a recent animation brief. I had to create characters that could narrate a story along with descriptive information about how Liverpool's docks operated currently and in the past.

The brief was to design a book cover for puffin, and i also decided to do a further 4 illustration for inside the book. 




Anorak design a Happy Cover for the Christmas '09 edition:

I decided to focus on the animals of the Winter season and over all frivolity.



"How to Paint a Donkey" by Naomi Shihab Nye. 

Brief was to design a donkey to illustrate the poem. The brief was very open, and any medium and context could be used.
